Shipping specialist (Norway)
Main tasks:
Invoicing
Invoicing of customer orders in the ERP system
Handling shipments
Booking and make inquires regaring freight for customer orders for various shipping modes
Booking of shipments for the purchasing department and/or other departments requiring shipments
Follow up of shipments
Support customs handling the Zenitel shipments
Handle customer and internal inquiries regarding shipment status and logistics
Shipping documents
Issue freight documents for required shipping mode
Assist in making export documentation such as Certificate of Origin and Green Passport.
Freight cost
Follow up freight cost including approval of invoices for freight
Assist with advanced calculations in MS Excel for negotiations of freight agreements
Other tasks
Ensure compliance with import & export regulations
Other tasks assigned by management
Knowledge / Skills needed:
Handling import, export & shipping
Freight calculation
Solid experience from working in ERP systems
Knowledge of nShift
Advanced MS Excel
Ability to work independently
Teamwork skills
Communication and cooperation skills
Communication in English (both in writing and verbally)
Education / Experience:
3 years higher education in shipping or economics
Documented minimum 1 year of experience within shipping
Experience in working in ERP systems as the main tool
Experience in working in nShift
Using advanced formula functions in MS Excel
