Les postes IP n'ont pas besoin d'ajout de matériel tel qu'une carte ASLT mais nécessitent une licence. Les serveurs audio AlphaCom XE supportent jusqu'à 552 postes. Si le réseau dans lequel sont configurés ces postes prend en charge le multicast, ces derniers peuvent tous être IP. Sinon, le serveur supporte jusqu'à 50 postes IP et une licence est nécessaire pour l'ajout de postes.
