The VidSys PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) software platform is used to run operations centers for public sector agencies and leading enterprise organizations globally.
The platform continuously fuses and instantly correlates vast amounts of data gathered from any number or virtually any type, brand or generation of physical security system or sensor, as well as from networked management applications.
The result is actionable intelligence that empowers decision makers from a single organization or multiple entities – however geographically dispersed – to collaborate in real time.
Integration Benefits
The VidSys PSIM software monitors specific AlphaCom events and uses these events to pro-actively identify potential sitituations.
If a situation is verified, the PSIM platform can send commands to various subsystems to perform specific actions. It can for instance send a command to the CCTV system when an intercom call button has been pressed or a call has been established between a remote intercom and an operator.
The appropriate camera(s) picture is then displayed to the operator via the common operating picture provided to the PSIM operator.
