Worldwide interest in remotely controlled, and autonomous vessels is increasing, usually in combination with zero emission propulsion systems, and now also with zero emissions on the entire value chain.
The idea of a vessel retrofitting is gaining interest and is attracting ship-owners to extend the lifetime of their vessels. Such a process provides a competitive chance to reduce fuel consumption and stay up to date with the latest eco-solutions, as a cost-effective procedure.
Zenitel is adding a new range of amplifiers for music and entertainment to add even more flexibility and quality integration to their portfolio for marine applications, that will now bring additional quality and cost-savings to ship builders and ship owners.
Zenitel has selected A-Kabel to manufacture a range of headsets for its Maritime & Energy product portfolio, where rough use meets durable Norwegian design.
Sound reception systems are electronic acoustical navigational aids that enable the ship’s crew to hear audio signals generated from outside an enclosed bridge. The sound reception system is installed as an aid for look-out as required by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREG), 1972 standards. Sound reception systems can also be installed on vessels lacking fully enclosed bridges.
We are pleased to announce that ICX-AlphaCom and IC-EDGE have passed compliance testing and are officially verified as compatible with the market leading video management system, Milestone XProtect®.
CCTV systems are now, more than ever, part of our RFQs for both Marine applications and Energy projects. Less than a year ago we completed a full FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for Equinor’s Mongstad plant, where we upgraded the old analog CCTV infrastructure to sophisticated IP infrastructure.
