The AA703P is a waterproof portable industrial master station with keyboard and built-in loudspeaker.  The station also has a built-in relay which can be used for door opening or triggering a light indicator when calling. The station can call and receive calls from all the stations in the system.

The AA703P consists of a processor and software and does not require an exchange. All programming is performed by a power switch on the station. The program consists of rows of standard intercom functions such as simplex or duplex conversation, priority, automatic answer-back when absent, repetition of the last call, All Call and two group calls, program distribution and door opening (remote control). A 10W amplifier can be mounted in the station for connecting an external loudspeaker. The amplifier has a Talk-Back function that makes calls with answering possible via loudspeaker. An extra 24V DC or AC power supply will then be necessary.

AA703P can also be connected to an external handset module. This has to be connected on terminal block TB3 on the board within the station.

The cabling is very flexible and can either be star- or parallel-cabling. If a local power supply is used, 1 pair of cables is enough. Normally 4 pairs of cables are recommended, where 1 pair is used for conversation and display data, one pair for voltage and one pair for program channel. The cable has to be in twisted pairs.
