APC Relay I/O Smart Slot card

The UPS-APC-CARD, also known as the APC Relay I/O Smart Slot card, is a UPS management card with dry contact (relay) support. It is designed to be used with the UPS-APC-3000-230R, UPS-APC-3000-230T, and UPS-APC-4500-230T uninterruptible power supply units. This card allows you to monitor external triggers and initiate actions on external devices using the dry contact (relay) support. It is installed in a Smart Slot, which is a dedicated expansion slot found on certain APC UPS models. The UPS-APC-CARD is a powerful tool for managing and maintaining your UPS system, allowing you to monitor and control various aspects of the UPS and connected devices. It is an essential component for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of your UPS system.

The APC Relay I/O Smart Slot card offers the following features:
1.    UPS status information is presented through 6 fully isolated output relays, which can be expanded to 8 using the universal input/output ports and the optional Dry Contact I/O Accessory
2.    UPS control and testing using 4 optoisolated input contacts
3.    UPS control and testing based on environmental conditions using the universal input/output ports and an optional Environmental Sensor

Programmable Inputs:
1.    Turn the UPS on
2.    Turn the UPS off
3.    Turn the UPS off safely
4.    Start the UPS self-test
5.    Shut down the UPS when on battery, except for self-test or runtime calibration
6.    Put the UPS in bypass if the bypass is available on the UPS.
7.    Shut down the UPS when on battery except for self-test or runtime calibration.

Programmable Outputs:
1.    The UPS is on battery (e.g., during a power failure, self-test, or runtime calibration)
2.    The UPS has a low battery
3.    The protected load is not receiving power from the UPS or there is a communication issue between the UPS and the Relay I/O Card
4.    The UPS battery needs to be replaced
5.    The UPS is overloaded
6.    The UPS is in bypass by selection from software, front panel, or rear panel.
7.    Any UPS fault or self-test failure. 
8.    Any UPS fault, self-test failure, or overload.
9.    Any UPS fault, self-test failure, overload, or replacement of the battery

The package includes the Dry Contact I/O SmartSlot Card, a USB A to Mini B cable (for accessing the Configuration Utility), and a printed manual.
