NorShipping 2019 sets new records
The organizers have revealed that the latest NorShipping was the most successful ever, with a record number of delegates attending the Lillestrøm-based exhibition halls and associated activities in Oslo.
In all, almost 50,000 people participated in NorShipping 2019 official events between 3 and 7 June – a 34% increase over 2017 figures.
Although NorShipping has been operating for the past 54 years, this was the first time organizers extended its scope to encompass ocean industry businesses as well as the traditional maritime audience. As such, the international event week – which welcomed exhibitors from 47 countries and visitors from over 85 nations – was rebranded: Your Arena for Ocean Solutions. A move Nor-Shipping Director Per Martin Tanggaard says appears to have paid off.

Zenitel at NorShipping
For the Zenitel Maritime and Energy division, this exhibition is one of the most important events where we meet our customers and partners from the global maritime industry. We would like to extend a big gratitude to everyone who visited our stand during the 2019 NorShipping event.
At our stand, we provided visitors with live demos of our world-leading PAGA systems, integrated with our Vingtor-Stentofon Operator Control Room Solution, as well as our brand-new Safe Return to Port (SRtP) solution.
One of the most valuable outcomes of such events is to sit down and talk with our customers to understand their needs, both now and in the future. It is also important for us to evaluate our performance. Therefore after the event, we sent out a short survey. We would like to thank everyone that replied and gave us valuable feedback.
