Zenitel Americas Joins Convergint for its 2024 Social Responsibility Day

The annual Convergint Social Responsibility Day event was launched in 2002 to reinforce the company’s ongoing commitment to service and to support the local communities where its colleagues live and work. This is the second year that Zenitel Americas has participated in the event.

On June 7, the Zenitel Americas team will spend the day at two facilities: the Kansas City Kansas Community College with Convergint and the KC Pet Project.

Convergint's Day of Technology at the Kansas City Kansas Community College will bring awareness to a technology driven career world that many of our youth don’t realize is a real option to them. The objective is to offer a hands-on experience that showcases the possibilities of a career in the technology field right after graduation. The goal is to emphasize that working with everyday technologies can lead to fulfilling career paths, dispelling the notion that traditional college is the sole route to success. The Zenitel Americas Technical team will work with students to show how some of our intelligent critical communication solutions work and the role that our technical team plays to ensure that they always provide clear communications. 

The Zenitel Americas team is also thrilled to spend the day with the KC Pet Project, for the second year in a row.

For 10 years, the KC Pet Project has been building a compassionate, safe community for pets and people. Municipal shelters across the US, including KC Pet Project, are seeing record numbers of animals arriving daily. KC Pet Project sees between 40-50 new dogs and cats into its shelter every day, and it expects to take in nearly 15,000 pets in need in 2024, with a limited amount of funding. Its lifesaving services, including its Keep ‘Em Together KC programs, support thousands of local families with pets by helping them with veterinary care, supplies, emergency boarding, and reclaim fee forgiveness. It also has pet safety initiatives like microchipping, pet identification, and more.
