High Bandwidth Audio License

The High Bandwidth Audio License allows you to use PCM_L16/48 codec for music distribution in an Alphacom system. The PCM_L16/48 codec use 48 kHz sampling and 16 bits per sample giving a maximum audio frequency of 24 kHz and SNR (signal to noise ratio) of 96 dB.

The following AlphaCom devices supporting PCM_L16/48 are  Exigo IP Speakers, Exigo Amplifiers, TKIE/TKIS kit used as PA gateways  and TKIE/TKIS kits used as microzone  PA amplifiers. Note that Turbine stations currently do not support PCM_L16/48. 

You would need one High Bandwidth Audio License per AlphaCom server.
