The ICX-FXS-AC/DC System rack is specially designed for use onboard ships and can be delivered with one or two FXS-GW-24P gateways in order to provide up to 24 or 48 analog extensions. The system is based on the ICX-AlphaCom communication platform with an extensive feature set.

The ICX-Alphacom solution supports a wide range of analog, IP and wireless communication terminals made for the offshore environment. IP DECT base stations connect directly to the exchange over IP providing a very cost efficient solution to deploy a wireless network onboard. The DECT telephones, IP telephones and intercom terminals have all access to the same set of AlphaCom features. Users will be able to enjoy the benefits of one user experience and seamless mobility as they will always be contactable regardless where they are on the ship. The ICX-FXS-AC/DC can be customized with a set of option packages. These include:

  • FXO gateway (4 channels)
  • 4G telephone gateway
  • IP DECT system
  • Customized directory programming

The system is service friendly. The exchange is mounted in a steel rack, providing easy access to all terminal blocks in the back side of the rack.
The system is type approved by DNV as an integrated communication system.
