The MRBD relay board has six relays, which are controlled by RCOs from the exchange or from an RIOunit. The MRBD must be powered by +24 VDC. The AlphaCom E7 and E20 comes with a 24VDCoutlet for such a purpose, but in the AlphaCom E26, a Power Distribution Board (PDB) is required.

In the AlphaCom exchange, it is recommended that all the RCOs be connected to the same ASLT board(s) in order to simplify cabling.

The MRBD board is supplied in an installation box that can be fastened onto the mounting rail on the connection field of the AlphaCom exchange, or mounted on the wall in any suitable position.
