SMART1 Manager software for managing, controlling and updating the SMART1 handsets.

SMART1 Manager is a software solution that keeps handsets up to date, stores the config-files, keeps track of device condition and distributes apps to the right persons. 

The Vingtor-Stentofon SMART1 Manager is a web based administration page used for configuration and programming the base station and relevant network end-nodes.Using this interface,the system can register or deregister the SMART1 handsets. The configuration interface is a setup tool for software or firmware download to base stations and handsets and to check relevant system logs that can be useful to administrator. These logs can be used to troubleshoot the system when it faces unforeseen operational issues.​

All installations that need some form of license management require SMART1 Manager. All data is distributed over WiFi. It is necessary to have an Ethernet network and at least one WiFi Access Point per system.

Main purposes:

  • It hosts all licenses and applications dedicated for the site.The SMART1 handset receives all the site data, profile configuration and licenses from the SMART1 Manager
  • The SMART1 Manager offers to administrators and end-users a smart application platform optimized for systems up to 200 units
  • It can handle 1000 extensions matching 1000 handsets
  • The SMART1 Manager is a complete provisioning tool for the SMART1 handsets: apps, licenses, settings, profile configuration, firmware updates and updates of the apps
  • The SMART1 Manager also has a number of different logging facilities for the handsets and other system components via syslog
  • During runtime it performs a number of tasks: Transfers handset debug logs to the SMART1 Manager and downloads the Firmware updates. Monitors the battery level. Monitors the charging state.
  • It handles the SMART1 hardware: Alarm Key, Side Key, RFID positioning, BLE positioning and NFC Positioning
  • Enable/disable the camera and Top display LED
  • The local database stores all the configuration data of the SMART1 Manager and It is accesible by other apps through an API
