Zenitel’s Station Announcement Point (SAP02) is a versatile All-Call paging microphone, designed for installation in both internal or external public areas, such as train station platforms to facilitate local announcements. It is housed in an IP65-rated, vandal-resistant, wall-mounted, lockable box and integrates seamlessly with Zenitel’s range of PAVA Audio Routers.

The SAP02 features a flexible fist microphone with an integrated PTT (Push-to-Talk) button, a graphic LED display, and an additional button to activate the optional radio receiver. It is equipped with a built-in signal limiter to handle variations in operator technique effectively. For system integrity, the microphone generates an outgoing low-frequency surveillance tone, which the Audio Router uses to continuously monitor the audio path. Microphone capsule monitoring is conducted by injecting and analysing a signal, ensuring that open or short circuits in the capsule or associated wiring trigger a fault indication. 

Additionally, the Audio Router monitors the data connection and reports any local alarms.
