Each year on June 25th, we celebrate Day of the Seafarer (DotS). This year Day of the Seafarer is celebrating its 10th anniversary since first being implemented by IMO in June 2010. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration plans to have all ferries run on pure electric propulsion by 2030. In Norway, this is called the Ferry (R)evolution. By 2022, there will be so many electric ferries operating in Norway that the annual emission cut will be equal to that of 150,000 cars.

The 40th Edition of the International WorkBoat Show was held last week at the Ernest Memorial Convention center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Zenitel was one of several hundred exhibitors at this yearly event, and we are very pleased with the outcome of #IWBS19.

The Johan Sverdrup Project is one of Norway’s largest industry projects and the largest development on the Norwegian continental shelf since the 1980s.
